Thickened Toenails

Damage to a nail can affect the nail root and cause it to grow thick over time. This can become very uncomfortable as the pressure builds up underneath and around the nail. They can be embarrassing and difficult to cut making life awkward.

Our Podiatrists can help with a Routine Podiatry treatment by cutting the nail back and clearing the edges, then reducing the thickness of the nail itself making it much more comfortable.

If necessary, we can offer nail surgery to remove the nail under local anaesthetic.
