Routine Podiatry/Chiropody
On your first appointment with us we will assess your feet for the circulation and sensation and take a general medical history so we can start to formulate a treatment plan to help. Part of your plan will be advice on various issues that will help your feet and then also on potential return visits and the frequency we may need to see you.
Nail Surgery
Nail surgery is an safe effective and efficient way of dealing with ingrowing toenails. Sometimes nail surgery is not required and it can be dealt with much more simply however if it is necessary nail surgery done to cure the problem.
Biomechanics & Sports Podiatry
Many of us will suffer from a biomechanical issue at some point in our lives. As we walk or run our bodies function in varying amounts of efficiency. When our feet and joints in our ankles and legs are functioning less efficient it can lead to us getting symptoms which can be re-occurring and stop us preforming at our best or even stop us completely.

Lacuna Method for treating Fungal Nails
We treat fungal toenails and can use a range of treatments to help this embarrasing problems. Lacuna method is a new treatment where the antifungal agent is applied to the base of the nail as apposed to the top of the nail. Small holes are drilled intot he nail to aid the antifungal agent to disperse through and form a pool underneath the nail and help it grow out without the infection.
Swift - Verruca Treatment
At Walsh Podiatry we use the latest microwave technology to successfully treat verrucas and warts. Swift is simple and effective. If you have stubborn verrucas and warts and have tried many other treatments swift is different as triggers an immune response by rapidly heating the tissue but wihtout causing skin breakdown or blistering as in other treatments such as acid or cryotherapthy treatments.
Foot Mobilisation Therapy
During your assessment we have seen that some of the bones in your feet are out of the optimum position for good function. This happens over time and gradually.
We have a 5 weeks course of treatment the first week is twice a week, followed by 4 weeks of once a week. You will be given exercises to do at home during this time also.
Gait and Motion Clinic - 3d Printed Phits Orthotics
We use foot scan technology within our MSK / biomechanical assessments and are able to produce accurate 3d printed orthotics desigend to maximise you gait efficiency.
