Morton’s neuroma

This is a sharp burning pain in the metatarsal area of the foot and is a type of metatarsalgia. The pain can be severe and restrict movement and mobility.

The nerves which supply the toes can become swollen and inflamed and therefore symptoms can vary from numbness, pins and needles to a sharp burning severe pain.

This can be caused by multiple factors, including footwear and efficiency of foot function in gait.
